So many issues with technology like IVF. As a parent, how much do you value genetic affinity? The courts value it at 30% of the cost of upbringing a child. From a spiritual perspective, is it right to say that parents should bear full cost irregardless of genetic affinity? Rightly so I believe as God allowed the spirit of the child to be born into this world, not that he should be blamed for He is perfect but the mix up is due to our fallen nature. He destined the parents to nuture that precious soul irregardless of genetic affinity. Abortion should not be an option to consider in this case.
